MOVING PAST THE CONDITIONED MIND
In discussing the ‘theatre of space, time and causality’, Chopra illuminates the key point that the core of who we are, our true, eternal being, is not simply contained within the body and mind, rather it transcends them and their limited experience. What prevents us from knowing who we really are? The ego, fear of impermanence, fear of death-- fear of the unknown, this is where all suffering comes from. By recognizing that the body and mind are objects, not subjects, Chopra explains, we can begin to acknowledge the ever-expansiveness of our collective being.
